Here you'll find games that I have finished, or that are still in production. You'll also find games that I am following and supporting as well.
Since I was a kid, I've always had an interest in how games worked, starting with the ZX Spectrum and games such as Manic Miner. Seeing all the code in there seemed overwhelming at first, but I was tempted to at least program something simple like a menu selection screen.
Several years later, in 2001, I discovered a program called RPG Maker 2000, and my newly-developed love for RPGs pulled me in to start making my own. I never had a chance to finish a game, but the experience was there.
Fast-forward a few years and I also discover other game-making engines such as Clickteam's Game Maker (now owned by YoYo Games as Game Maker Studio), and Adventure Game Maker. However, these engines never interested me back then, so I moved back to RPG Maker. By that point RPG Maker 2003 came out, and this is when my thirst for wanting to make a complete game started...
... or so I thought. A virus on my computer completely crushed the game I was working on, leaving nothing behind but the graphics and map data. This put me off game making for a while...
... that is, until RPG Maker XP came out, boasting a coding system known as RGSS. At this point, I knew what I could do, and I started messing around with window positions and stuff. It was fun, but I could never pull off something fancy at the time. Then I discovered a community dedicated to RPG Maker in which I could learn a few tricks.
Since 2006, I've been working on what was to become my biggest struggle to date; a little project that started off using Base RTP characters, and soon developed into something new. This is what was to become "Searching for Mother". Since then, I've been practising my abilities to improve the game, and possibly start making other projects on the side.
